Our Mission
The youth are our future.
Our mission at The H.O.P.E. Foundation is to provide the next generation with the guidance and support they need to become successful and functional citizens while living fulfilling lives. It is our belief you can create the life you want by committed hard work and consistently making better choices over a long period of time.
Oftentimes, positive role models are lacking in the lives of at-risk adolescents, along with other factors that hinder their success - poverty, substance abuse, violence, and little to no family support. The role of mentors in a young person's life is one of the most valuable aspects of helping them navigate their way through life and making decisions that benefit them and others. In order to help at-risk youth reach their desired outcomes, we build a network of mentors who help them set and achieve goals.
The H.O.P.E. Project plans to implement mentoring programs in different communities throughout California, and to eventually extend it to many underprivileged school systems in the United States. The objectives of our program are to increase skill sets, positive engagement, and school-related program retention rates, prepare young people for the workplace, give them life and career decision-making skills, and increase community involvement. Through education, training, and network building, we empower the youth to live their lives to their fullest potential, personally and professionally. As an organization, our aim is to connect with school and community organizers and invest in their programs to positively impact change together.
Mentors, volunteers, and donors make an invaluable contribution to the vitality of the organization and to those who rely on it. Each child should have the opportunity to develop a sense of self-identity and achieve academic confidence, which will lead to ambitious and engaged citizens. We can change the future together. Take Action, and lets drive Results not Excuses!
